Goodness me, it's already November! This year has gone by incredibly fast. Wasn't it just January?
Now, of course, the year isn't over yet. But it will be soon enough and we will all look back on 2017 and remember how we used our time.
How have you used your time this year?Did you use it wisely? I'm sure that 50% of you did not use 2017 as well as you could have, and I'll bet that, if you could, 99% of you would go back and change how you used your time. The truth is you never use the time you're given correctly, not even if you are the most productive person on the planet. All of us waste our time on insignificant little things that will not mean much once we're done with them because we are not focusing on what is really important.
But then what is important? The only thing worth spending our time on is the work of heaven. While the things of this world that we now focus on will pass away, heaven and its almighty God will never disappear, for they are always constant and are the only things worth living for.
As 2017 ends and a new year is soon to begin, I pray that each and every person who reads these words will have their hearts stirred. Let this simple truth penetrate and change you; begin to see that God is the only thing worth living and dying for. And I pray that I have used my time well in writing this; let God use these words, because they are not mine. They are his.
