Well, I'm too busy. They don't exist.I'm too old to believe in magic. Why? I pity the person who looks at everything from a scientific basis, saying all things magical are just old-wives-tales. What is a life without mystery or magic in it? Don't you think that God would have thought, "My people need something magic in their lives?" and created magical beings?
I think God approved of your faith in hidden things when you were young. Wouldn't he want you to still believe in that same magic when you're grown up? So let's enjoy God's world of enchantment and look around. A fairy could be hiding anywhere.

Rachel,
It is so easy to look at our Christian Faith as being very sterile, meaning what we see in this world is all there is to God. If we read about what the early church was like in the book of Acts, it is far from sterile. Great works of the Holy Spirit were so public. Christians sharing their possessions, miracles of healing, etc. The Christians of that day knew that the God that they serve is a supernatural God. We should have that mindset as well. Your post inspired me to think about this. Thank youI
