Our Flag

Our flag is not just a pattern on a bolt of fabric: many people forget this one simple fact. They consider it  just the American flag. Well, it's much more that that. Our flag stands for a country that was built out of the wilderness. Our flag stands for the thousands of people who gave their lives in many wars to keep our nation free. Our flag is a symbol of the millions of hearts singing out for freedom - freedom for all. Our flag represents a nation of people determined to make a difference The American flag is not just a piece of cloth. It's a wonderful symbol of American free thinking.


This essay is in honor of Flag Day, and the many soldiers who died defending this country and its flag. So we will never forget what that flag means.
