Sin is like a serpent worming its way into our lives, making us feel bad. The serpent will crawl in and out, constricting us. God's unstoppable love will come if you just call out to him; he will chase satan back into his hole. The serpent will come again, but God is always there.

Good analogy with the snake. I hate snakes! God's prescription is repentance and then asking the Holy Spirit to renew our minds(Ephesians 4).
