Your children are your dearest possessions; you've loved them, cared for them, and protected them since the day they were born. You wish to protect them from every rut in the road, every disappointment they'll have. But you are just the parent; you can't be the safety net of your child's life.You can't protect your daughter from every friend she loses, you can't protect your son from every skinned knee he gets. Even from the day they're born, you need to start letting them go. Trust God with your children, and start letting them go.
